Marilyn Clauson

age 78 of Cottage Grove died suddenly Saturday morning March 27, 2010 surrounded by her family.

Marilyn was born March 28, 19 31 in Austin , Minnesota the daughter of Bert & Cora (Loe) Blowers. Marilyn lived in Austin until age twelve when she moved to Portland , Oregon . When she was 17 her family returned to Minnesota and settled in Fergus Falls . On September 27, 19 49 she was united in marriage with Wayne Orlando Clauson. Marilyn worked for the city of Newport , the refinery, the school district and HRA in St. Paul Park . She will be remembered as an excellent cook who enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles embroidery, and crewel work. Her family was most important to her.

Marilyn is the beloved wife of Wayne Clauson; loving mother of Linda (Bill) Clauson Lyons and Steve Clauson; sister of Drew Blowers of Nisswa, MN.

She was preceded in death by her parents Bert & Cora Blowers, and her sisters Joan Haug and DeDe Blowers.

Visitation 4-7 with Funeral Service at 6 PM Wednesday at KOK FUNERAL HOME, 7676 80 ^TH St. S. Cottage Grove (651-459-2875). Interment 1 PM Thursday April 1 in Ten Mile Lake Lutheran Cemetery in Dalton , MN .
