Mark Hammarsten

Mark Alan Hammarsten was born December 18, 19 58 in St. Paul the son of Wendell & Doris (Johnson) Hammarsten. He was raised in West St. Paul and attended Henry Sibley High School . 12, 1980 he was united in marriage with Christine Vasquez at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in South St. Paul . Mark was employed by the Pioneer Press for 32 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting and fishing.

Mark is survived by his wife, Christine; sons; Steven (Julie), Joseph, and Gregory, his mother Doris; brothers; Mike (Donna), Vern (Shelley), and Roger (Jody), sisters, Cheryl, Connie (Chris) Walker, Bev Backer; mother & father-in-law George & Espy Vasquez; nieces, nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Wendell.
