It is with profound sadness we share the passing of Mark Steven Oszman, age 76, peacefully on August 24, 2025, with loving family by his side.
As a young boy, he grew up in Sheridan, WY and his teen years brought him back to MN. Mark graduated from Park High School in 1967 where he met Beverly Johnson, the love of his life. He enlisted in the US Marine Corps and served in Vietnam. They were married July 5, 1969, and raised two daughters, Jodi and Julie. Mark was a dedicated engineer for CNW and UP Railroads. He enjoyed his work and created many lifelong friendships along the way.
Mark was a cherished husband, sharing 56 years with Bev by his side. He was an amazing dad and doting grandpa. He loved family time, holidays, travel, golf, music, winters in PCB, reading, crosswords, and Jeopardy. He was involved with his church and was a proud veteran who felt privileged to serve on the Fort Snelling Honor Guard.
Mark never met a stranger or missed an opportunity to share a conversation with a smile. He lived with unwavering devotion to his family, remarkable strength and resilience, and above all, a deep connection to his faith. He will be dearly missed.
He is survived by wife, Beverly; daughters, Jodi (Jim) Dalluhn and Julie (Paul) Engleson; grandchildren, Jackson (Savannah), Henry (Alyssa), AK, Tate, and Abe; siblings, Dawn (Jim) Dickison, Jeff McNair, Deanna (Patrick) Luke, Theresa (Paul) Glasrud, Bob (Bev) Oszman, and Kara Rabbia; aunt, Darlene Pecelj; in-laws, Diane (Carl) Solberg, Sue (Jim) Kenney, and Dave Berberick. Preceded in death by parents, Christine and Robert; and sister, Mary Jo.
