Mark Robinson

October 21, 1952 — December 17, 2017

Mark V. Robinson 65, of Minneapolis, died on December 17, 2017 with his family at his side, joining his father Byron in heaven. Mark was born October 21, 1952 to Henry Byron & Alice (Beskar) Robinson in St. Paul, Minnesota. He grew up in St. Paul Park, graduating from Park High School in 1970. He enlisted in the US Army after high school and served his country for two years. Mark married Adele Leaf on August 6, 1983 in Milaca, Minnesota. He worked for Hotel Sofitel for 26 years and retired six years ago. Mark had a passion for music. He was a member of Pavek Museum of Broadcasting; he started many years ago in tube amp repair which lead to electronic repairs and restoration of old radios.  He enjoyed riding his bike all over town and cross country skiing. Mark was a talented baker and everyone loved his famous chocolate chip cookies. He was also an avid bird watcher. He is survived by his loving wife, Adele of 34 years; mom, Alice; siblings, Hugh (Carolyn), Holly, Joy, and Angela (Kurtis) Scaletta; mother-in-law, Dorothy Leaf; brothers and sisters-in-law, Lynne Prodger, Darwin (Lisa) Leaf, Gordie Leaf, Edie (Scot) Bassett, Sally (Lars) Gehlbach, Joe (Denise) Leaf; numerous nieces, nephews, other relative and friends. Memorial Reception Saturday, January 6 from 1:00 pm-3:00 pm at Kok Funeral Home (1201 Portland Ave. St. Paul Park) Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
