Maurice “Mauri” Anthony Perron – Age 89
April 10, 1929 – November 24, 2018

Resident of Cottage Grove for over 59 years

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 am, Thursday, November 29, 2018 at The Church of St. Rita, 8694 - 80th Street S., Cottage Grove. Visitation will be 4-8 pm, Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 – 80th Street S., Cottage Grove as well as one hour prior to service at church.  Private interment St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery, Mendota Heights.

Mauri was a contractor specializing in home remodeling, a Korean War veteran, a 50 year member of the American Legion, an active member of Saint Rita’s Catholic Church, an active boater on the St Croix River for years, an animal and nature lover, a loving husband, father and grandfather, and a dear friend to all that knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents Adalor and Ellen Perron; siblings Alice, Lorraine and Rita; son Gary and son-in-law Lewis.  Mauri is survived by his wife, Sherrie Perron; siblings Eileen and John; children Robert (Donna) Perron, Renee Hildebrand, Lynne (Mike) Dwire, Donald Perron, Robin Perron, Valerie (Jim) Boettcher, Jodie (Troy) Thunstrom, Melissa (Tony) Turnquist; grandchildren Lewis, Jake, Sam, Allison, Kyle, Kimberly, Chris, Heather, Hannah, Jack, Taylor, Ty, Jamie, Justin, Ashley, Rachel, Leah, Nicole as well as 9 great-grandchildren.
