age 41 of Belle Plain formerly of Cottage Grove on Friday morning, August 4, 2006 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Michael Ernest Chambers was born July 25, 1965 in St. Paul the son of John & Constance (Jelmberg) Chambers. He was raised in Cottage Grove. He was an avid fisherman who had a great love of the outdoors, especially the Boundary Waters Canoe Area.
Survived by mother Connie of Cottage Grove; children Jason of Staples, Jessica of Cottage Grove, Mike Jr. of Belle Plain, Alex of Belle Plain; brothers Tom (Martha) of Florida, John Jr. of Cottage Grove, Gerry of Prescott, Wisconsin; sisters LuAnn of Houston, Texas, Theresa of Michigan, Patty of Michigan; many nieces & nephews; girlfriend Lee.
Preceded in death by father John Sr.; grandmother Lucille Jelmberg.
Funeral Service 4 PM Tuesday at KOK FUNERAL HOME, 7676 80TH St. S. Cottage Grove (651-459-2875) with visitation staring at 2 PM. Interment Cottage Grove Cemetery.
