Myrtice "Myrt" Degenstein, age 90 of Cottage Grove, passed away on Friday, September 8, 2023.
Myrt enjoyed bingo, playing marbles and an occasional trip to the casino.
Myrt is survived by her children Dianne (Ken) Dorma, Denise (Richard) Huddle, John (Dawn) Wicklacz, Jody Wicklacz and Jason (Vickie) Degenstein; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren and sister-in-law Millie Ekholm.
Myrt was preceded in death by her husband James (in June 2023); parents Thomas and Essie Broadbent; siblings Vernon Broadbent and Marlys Wyrick and an infant son.
Myrt will be laid to rest at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
