Nancy Emerson

Nancy Jo Emerson, of Eagan , formerly of Cottage Grove died on Saturday evening October 31, 2009 at Fairview Ridges Medical Center in Burnsville .

Nancy was born June 16, 19 56 in New York , New York the daughter of Minehardt & Nancy Altermatt. She was raised in Cottage Grove and graduated from Park High School in 1974. On August 7, 1976 she was united in marriage to Vern Emerson in St. Paul Park . She was employed at Rainbow Foods in Eagan for over 23 years. Nancy enjoyed reading, knitting and crocheting, watching horror films, and playing POGO games on the computer.

She id the beloved wife of Vern; mother of Melissa (Chris) Olsen; daughter of Nancy Altermatt; sister of Frank (Theo) & Robert (Linda) Altermatt; aunt of Jason (Lindsey) & Jeremiah.

Funeral Service 2 PM Wednesday at KOK FUNERAL HOME, 7676 80 ^TH St. S. Cottage Grove (651-459-2875). Interment Cottage Grove Cemetery . Visitation 1-2 PM Wed. at funeral home.
