Nancy Ann Knudtson

Nancy A Knudtson, age 87 of Cottage Grove, Minnesota and formerly of West Salem, Wisconsin passed away on June 7, 2026 at Woodbury Health Care Center.

A private family interment service is planned.

Nancy was born on April 25, 1939 in West Salem, Wisconsin to Clarence and Lucille Hemker. Nancy graduated from West Salem High School in 1957.

Nancy worked at First Credit Pacific Finance as the Head Cashier in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. On December 30, 1961 Nancy married the love of her life Donald Knudtson in West Salem, Wisconsin at Christ Lutheran Church and they were married for 59 years. 

Nancy was a proud Grandma to Anna and Alex Adams and family was her first priority. She enjoyed making floral arrangements, baking and made the best Strawberry Jam!

Nancy is survived by her children, Sheri Knudtson, Brian (Vicki) Knudtson, Nicole Adams and grandchildren Anna and Alex Adams, and Anna's fiancé Dawson Caroon; sister-in-law Florence (Ron) Munson, Marge Knudtson, Jane Knudtson and many other relatives and friends.

Nancy is preceded in death by her husband Donald, parents Clarence and Lucille Hemker. Brother Larry (Judith) Hemker; brothers-in-law, Kenneth (Doris) Knudtson, Harold (Mary Lou) Knudtson, Lyle (Marty) Knudtson, Bernie Knudtson, and Edmond "Butch" Knudtson; sisters-in-law Alice (Myron) Pfaff and Luella (Doug) Pierce.
