Nina was born in Wichita . She graduated from Howard High School in Howard and St. Mary’s College. Nina worked as a nurse at United Hospital , St. Paul Ramsey Hospital and United Healthcare. She loved to good and garden.

Nina is the beloved mother of Kristina L. (James) Dahlby, Kathy R. Leewright (Rick McKenzie), Roger G. Leewright; grandmother of Andrew Leewright, Anastacia Klingman, Mariah K., Andre D. and McKenzie L. Leewright; great-grandmother of Tymothy & Taylor.

She was preceded in death by parents Archie & Velma.
