Patricia "Pat" Jean Nelson

Patricia Jean Nelson, age 68, of Cottage Grove, Minnesota passed away peacefully on Friday, July 18, 2025 while surrounded by her loving family.

Pat is preceded in death by mother, Marion Montour; brother, John Montour; and father-in-law, Duane Nelson. She is survived by devoted husband of almost 49 years, Doug; children, Jennifer (Cory) Bednar, Chris (Cyrus), Matthew (Kelsey), and Brianna Nelson (Dave Richie); thirteen grandchildren; one great grandson; father, John Montour Sr.; siblings, Carol (Pete) Hanlon, Diane (Rick) Kramer, and David (Ann) Montour; mother-in-law, Ardyce Nelson; sister and brother-in-law, Laurie (Bob) Determan. 

Celebration of Life 12 PM with visitation beginning at 11 AM, Monday, August 4, 2025 at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 80th St. S., Cottage Grove, Minnesota 55016. A luncheon will follow the service at the funeral home. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to American Cancer Society or Shriners Hospitals for Children.
