Peter W. Goerges, age 76 of Cottage Grove died Saturday morning April 27, 2014 at Regions Hospital in Saint Paul.
Peter Werner Goerges was born August 23, 1937 the son of Johan and Johanna (Fritche) Goerges. He is best known for his passion for soccer and his kindness to all he touched
Peter was preceded in death by his parents Johan and Johanna, daughter Rachel; and Dorothy. Survived by children Joe (Mary), Steve (Anita), David (Betty) Fierro, Teresa (Gordy) Weitbrecht, Kristine (Dennis) Cooley, Peter (Shannon), Kathryn; and her mother Barbara Goerges; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation 2-6 PM Wednesday (4/30) with 5 PM Funeral Service at KOK FUNERAL HOME, 1201 Portland Ave. St. Paul Park
