Phyllis Hansen

Phyllis L. Hansen, of Little Canada, passed away on her birthday, January 14, 2022 at the age of 87.

Memorial service will be 11 am, Monday, January 31, 2022, at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 9979 – 80th Street S, Cottage Grove with lunch following.

Phyllis was born January 14, 1935 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Raymond and Vesta (Wright) Holmgren.  She grew up in St. Paul and graduated from Monroe High School in 1953.  Phyllis met the love of her life, Raymond Hansen, and they were united in marriage on January 1, 1966.

Phyllis served as a legal secretary for most of her career and was able to conclude her working years at North Heights Lutheran Church in Roseville.

She lived a life that was filled with faith and trust in Christ.  Phyllis spoke often of how God had helped her throughout her life and was known as a “prayer warrior” to many.  She loved spending time with her family and looked forward to being with them as much as she could.

She is preceded in death by her husband Raymond and her parents.  She is survived by her sons, David (Dawn) and Mike (Tanya); grandchildren Ryan, Alex, Lindsey, Brett, Morghan and Emma; great-granddaughter Evelyn.
