Phyllis Schilling

Phyllis Rose Schilling, age 88, of Newport died Saturday afternoon November 7, 2009 at Woodbury Health Care Center.





Phyllis was born June 11, 1921 in St. Paul, Minnesota the daughter of Albert & Amanda (Olson) Schilling. She was raised in Newport and graduated from Park High School. Phyllis was a photographer who had a pilots license. She enjoyed swimming, tanning, gardening and hunting.

Phyllis was survived by her sister Ethel Johnston of Newport; cousins Marion Parker of Canada, Greg May of Michigan, Eleanor Metzger of Maryland; special friends the Rottman family & Bud Green.

She was preceded in death by parents Albert & Amanda.

Funeral Service 12 Noon Thursday at KOK FUNERAL HOME, 1201 Portland Ave. St. Paul Park . Private burial Newport Cemetery . Visitation 11 AM -12 Noon Thursday at funeral home.
