After a sudden 2 day illness, Marge's beloved husband Dick of 57+ years passed away. Born and raised in St Paul, MN on March 19, 1944. He was 12 days shy of his 80th birthday. In late spring, his cremains will be interred at a grave side service held in Ross, ND for family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held in June at his home in MN for relatives and many friends.

Married to Margaret "Marge" Tabbert in Ross, ND, December 18, 1966. After his service in the Air Force, his job took him to other states before they settled back in MN. He recently retired from his sales job, but also enjoyed a career in banking and real-estate traveling 43 states.

He and Marge loved to travel frequently by car sightseeing and dining at many favorite spots. He enjoyed flying to Vegas, renting a car and traveling the parks and states near there. He loved collecting nutcrackers, the smallest being 2 inches, the tallest 6 feet. He was known for their many "cool" cars and pickups and his workshop commonly known as "Dick's hardware store". And you never saw him without one of many black cadet caps.

His labor of love was modernizing their 1887 Victorian home which was featured in the local Saint Paul Park, MN 2006 calendar of historic homes. He was very proud of a large immaculately maintained yard. He was always telling Marge "We need a new flowerbed".

He requested the cremains of the families 3 dogs be buried with his urn, and one day Marge's. Survived by 2 sons "Tony" & "Nate". Grandchildren Anna, Alex, and Isaiah. Many nephews, & nieces, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, special friends Joel, Stacy, and Kaitlyn. Paul & Susie, Dale, Happy Don, Gail & family, and cousins-in-law. So many other friends & former coworkers. Forgive us if we missed your name. Preceded in death by parents Fred and Helen, sister Marlene, a nephew and niece and many other relatives and friends. Memorials preferred to your local Food Shelf or Humane Society. May you rest in peace my love.
