Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather
Age 79 of Cottage Grove on March 5, 2008 at his home.
Richard is survived by his wife Beverly; son David (Rebecca); granddaughter Laura; grandson Eric; sisters-in-law Elaine Schlemmer, Eileen Hoch, Elaine Stendahl; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Oscar & Nina; brothers Kermit, Earl, Wallace, Carlton; sisters Beatrice Heitmiller, Gladys Walters.
Funeral Services 11:00 AM Saturday March 8 at COMMUNITY UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST, 1145 Summit Ave. St. Paul Park with Rev. Janet Shannon officiating. Interment with military honors Newport Cemetery. He served as a master sergeant in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict from 1951-1953 with the Headquarter 60th group.
