VonSpreecken, Richard J.; age 67 of Newport died at his home early Friday morning, January 24, 2006 after a very long battle with diabetes & cancer.
Richard was born June 25, 1938 in Bird Island, Minnesota the son of Louis & Elizabeth (Sacamary) VonSpreecken. He was raised in Bird Island. He loved going to the lake and the cabin. He enjoyed fishing.
Beloved husband of Sharon; sons Scott, Guy, Paul, Kim, Debbie, Mark, Bob & Lisa; niece Chyann; many family & friends.
Memorial Service 7 PM Tuesday January 24, 2006 at KOK FUNERAL HOME, 1201 Portland Ave. St. Paul Park (651-459-2875). Visitation 4-7 PM Tuesday at funeral home. Memorials in lieu of flowers. www.kokfuneral.com
