Age 68 of Cottage Grove on Sunday morning June 5, 2005 at Woodwinds Hospital in Woodbury.
Robert was born October 23, 1936 in St. Paul the son of William & Delma (Plante) Vander Heyden. He was raised in St. paul and graduated from Monroe High School in 1954. On May 7, 1960 he married Jacqueline Moldenhauer at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in St. Paul. He retired from the Minnesota Air National Guard 133rd T.A.W.
Beloved husband & best friend of Jackie; Loving father of Tony (Chris) of Maplewood, Bill (Theresa) of Macomb, MI, Joe (Sue) of Afton, John (Michelle)of Inver Grove Heights, Jean of Oakdale, Jim (Lori) of Big Lake; Beloved grandfather of Jim, Brianna, Kevin, Anna, Aaron, Jake, Linzie, Nicole, Ashley, Alex; brother of Gene (Mike) of Cushing; son-in-law of Ilene Moldenhauer; many nieces & nephews; special friend Danny.
Preceded in death by parents William & Delma.
Mass of Christian Burial 10 Am Thursday at ST. RITA?S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 8694 80TH St. S. Cottage Grove. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation 4-8 PM Wednesday AT CHURCH with a 7 PM prayer service and 9-10 Am Thursday.
