Roxanne Marie Herme

Roxanne Marie (Rieger) Herme, age 67, of Cottage Grove, Minnesota passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 1st, 2025.

Roxanne is dearly loved by her husband, Michael Herme, of forty-eight years; her children Nicole (Adam) Rongitsch and Kyle (Olivia) Crooks Herme; her brother John (Jill) Rieger and her sister Cynthia Horazdovsky. Roxanne was a loving grandmother to her granddaughter, Caitlin Rongitsch.

Raised in St. Paul, Minnesota, Roxanne graduated from Johnson High School and began her career at the Saint Paul Athletic Club and was a Pastry Baker. Her creativity lead her to become an Artist for over twenty years and she had a booth at the Minnesota State Fair for fifteen years. During this time, Roxanne went to school and became a licensed CNA that lead her to be passionate about caring for the elderly to give them end of life care.

In her early years, she enjoyed boating with her family and friends on the St. Croix River. She was very present attending her children's activities and sports. Later in life; Roxanne biked on trails, walked throughout the neighborhood and parks daily, visited different areas of Minnesota and Wisconsin, snuggled with her cat, Radar. She loved watching her favorite T.V shows and movies with her husband.

Roxanne is preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Elizabeth Rieger; her brothers Richard Rieger, Eugene Rieger Jr., and Donald Rieger; her sisters Sandra Johnson and Diane Thomas.
