Sharon Remore, age 71, of Cottage Grove passed away on August 20, 2020 at her home under the loving care of her family and hospice.

Sharon Elizabeth Remore was born February 15, 1949 in St. Paul to Otto and Louise (Haeger) Myrdahl.  She grew up on the West 7th Street area of St. Paul and graduated from Monroe High School in 1967.   Sharon met the love of her life, David Remore and they were later married on May 18, 1968 in St. Paul.  Sharon spent 35 years working for Ramsey County as an Administrative Assistant, retiring in 2005.  Sharon was an avid quilter and enjoyed crochet and embroidery.  She and Dave enjoyed traveling and spending the summer months at the family trailer on South Center Lake in Lindstrom, MN.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents; infant grandson Joseph; brother Dwight Myrdahl; and sisters-in-law Ann and Carol Myrdahl.  She is survived by her loving husband Dave; daughter Lisa (Michael) Kopren; son Matt (Jen); grandchildren Keagan, Aurelia, Jayden, Gretchen, and Rylan as well as brother Duane Myrdahl.

Memorial gathering will be 4-7 pm, Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 80th Street S., Cottage Grove.  Private interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.  Masks will be REQUIRED while in the funeral home facility.

While maintaining social distancing guidelines, we are now able to accommodate gatherings while abiding to a 50% capacity at the facility. The use of face masks by attendees is required at indoor events, and we will continue taking the necessary steps to keep your families safe.
