Shirley passed away after a one year long battle with cancer; she is now at rest with our Lord Jesus Christ. Preceded in death by her parents Al & Ruth Schmidt, three brothers Al, Bob, and Tom; and one sister, Doretta. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, James; her children David, Ruth (Gary), Mary, & Albert ( Lynn ). Grandchildren Lee, Rachael, Albert, Jesse, Tristan, Samantha, Mike, and Tom. Two great-grandchildren Joseph and Laura. Also numerous nephews and nieces. Shirley enjoyed her family and her home was always open to kids and those in need. She enjoyed singing karaoke at the Red Barn VFW. She was full of life and filled with a loving and giving heart. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
