Steven Arthur Nolan died peacefully on November 25th in Cottage Grove, MN at the age of 69.

Steve is survived by his wife Pat, his son Jonathan, and his daughter Tammi.

Steve was born on October 13, 1953, in Lawton, Oklahoma to Dewey & Janta Rose Nolan. Steve married Patricia Gillespie on March 22, 1985. After his military career Steve, Pat and Jonathan moved to Minnesota. Steve's civilian career was spent as an IT manager. Steve enjoyed working at Sunrise Banks in St. Paul. In his spare time, he spent weekends up north at his camper, holidays & birthdays with family and friends. He enjoyed riding his Harley, reading a good book and watching the history channel.

Steve was accomplished in many ways. Most notably his commitment to the United States Army for 21 years. He was a bit of a "Jack of all trades." He was always learning something new or refining something from before. He was soft and full of love. Always highly animated and quick to wit. He loved to help people learn about anything he could teach. His favorite thing in the world was doing what he could for his wife's smile. It wouldn't matter how many DIY projects she had lined up. He was right at her side every step of the way. The world lost a good man. Steve was loved and will be missed by many.

Steve will be cremated and the family plans to have a celebration of life in the spring of 2023.

The family would like to thank Dr. Cheema, Karen/RN, Dr. Cameron, Tonya/RN, all the many chemotherapy nurses, radiation technicians, and staff at M Health Fairview Cancer Care in Maplewood for their dedication of caring for Steve.
