Susanne Regina Meredyk

Susanne Meredyk, age 86 of Newport, Minnesota passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2026.

A Visitation will be from 10 -11 AM on Thursday, November 12, 2026 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 920 Holley Ave.; St. Paul Park, MN with Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. All are invited to a luncheon following the service at the church. A private burial will be at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery in Weyerhaeuser, Wisconsin at a later date.

Susanne was born on May 9, 1940 to John and Regina (Jasicki) Suski in St. Paul, Minnesota. In her younger years she spent alot of time with aunts, uncles and cousins in Weyerhaeuser, Wisconsin. This is where Susanne and Edward met as well and have been lifelong residents of Newport where they raised their family. Susanne will be remembered as a very loving, caring and accepting person. She will be deeply missed by all.

Susanne is survived by her husband of 68 years Edward; children Wayne (Cheryl) Meredyk, Debbie (Steve) Borgan, Kevin (Denise) Meredyk and Dawn Meredyk; grandchildren Jennifer (Tony) Riga, Duane Borgan II and Dylan (Taylor Houston) Meredyk; five step-grandchildren and one great-grandson Beckette Meredyk; sister Karen (Don) Klausen and many other nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents John and Regina Suski and her brother Tom Suski and one step-grandson.
