Todd Pommerening

Todd Pommerening, age 59,

Passed away on November 11, 2023. He was born on March 10, 1964, in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Todd was known for his easy-going nature, quick wit, and friendly personality. 

Todd grew up in Cottage Grove, Minnesota and he attended Woodbury High School where he graduated in 1982. In November of 1996, he welcomed his first daughter, Samantha. In May of 1999 is when his second daughter, Sydney, arrived. 

For forty years, Todd devoted his time and energy to Commercial Furniture Services. Beyond his career, Todd had a variety of hobbies and interests that brought him happiness. He loved watching Nascar races, and enjoying quality time with his family. Fishing and hunting were also cherished pastimes that allowed him to connect with nature and find peace in the great outdoors. One of Todd's greatest joys in life came from cruising around town in his treasured 1964 Buick Wildcat. 

Todd will be greatly missed as he was a great friend to many, a devoted father to his daughters, and a creative and bright spirit that touched the lives of those he came across. 

Todd is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Leida Pommerening and his brother, Donovan Pommerening. He is survived by his daughters, Samantha Pommerening (Austin Fitzgerald), and Sydney Pommerening (Reid Calhoun); siblings, Vince Pommerening (Mary), and Connie Pommerening (Bill Voje); nieces and nephews, Donovan Conaway (Ashley), and Nicole Lucking (Adam); great nieces and nephews, Nora Lucking and Waylon Conaway; and many other loving family and friends. 

A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 20 at 11 AM with an hour visitation prior at Kok Funeral Home (7676 80th Street S, Cottage Grove, MN 55016).
