Trudence Jill Torok

In loving memory of Trudence (Trudy) Jill Torok.

Trudence passed away on Thursday, May 7, at the age of 73 after a courageous battle with health issues. In spite of this, she was a most loving, optimistic, and humorous person cherished by many.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Jewel Myers. She is survived by her husband, Stephen Louis Torok; daughters, Suzanne Torok, and Melissa Erickson (John); grandson, Jacob Louis Erickson; brother, Bradley Myers; and sister, Marn Myers (William Barnette).

Trudy was born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. After graduating from Technical School, she moved to Minnesota. She has most recently lived in Cottage Grove and spent most of her career working for 3M as an administrative assistant.

In her retirement, Trudy enjoyed traveling, sewing, crafts, fishing, and playing her piano and trivia. She most enjoyed spending time with family making memories.

Trudy will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and her kindness and humor will be remembered fondly by family and friends.

Celebration of Life with take place 11 AM with visitation beginning at 10 AM Friday, May 15, 2026, at Saint Luke Lutheran Church, 7000 Hinton Ave S, Cottage Grove, MN 55016.
