Warren Sicard

Warren was born to Homer and Marie (Snyder) Sicard on June 11, 19 23 in St. Paul , Minnesota where he was raised and went to school. Warren attended and graduated from Mechanic Arts High School . On April 26, 19 43 Warren entered service in the US Navy, where he served honorably as a Seaman, First Class during WWII.

After his naval service, Warren began working for the Great Northern/Burlington Northern Railroad Company. A position he maintained for 36 years, retiring in 1982. During that time he was joined in marriage to his wife Bette Leary at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in St. Paul , MN on July 16, 19 49. Warren and Bette settled in Grey Cloud Island where they were longtime residents.

Warren was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 8752 (Red Barn) and American Legion Post 98.

He is preceded in death by his wife Bette and son Tim.

He is survived by his children Bill (Kathleen), Scott (Ellen), Terry (Colleen), Kevin (Carol), Mary (Bruce) Bruns; 12 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; Cousin Gary Sicard; sister-in-law Katie Mason; and many loved nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
