Wayne Wuellner Sr

age 65, died Wednesday morning April 7, 2010 .

Wayne Walter Wuellner was born August 6, 19 44 in St. Paul the son of Walter & Josephine (Miller) Wuellner. He was raised in St. Paul and graduated from Mechanic Arts High School in 1962. In 1970 he was united in marriage with Marie “Sue” Craven in St. Paul . He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was wounded in conflict and received a Purple Heart. Wayne was a St. Paul City employee for 26 years and received a meritorious award from the Fire Department of St. Paul for his heroism. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.

Wayne is the beloved husband of Marie “Sue”; loving father of Jon M. Craven (Amy Cosgrove), Tina Horton Wuellner, Wayne Walter “Butch Wuellner Jr. (Molly Carson); daughter-in-law Billie Brant; will be dearly missed by grandchildren Elaina, William, Sequoia, Zoe, Laila; brothers & sister-in-law Richard (Corlis) Colling, Patty Stout, Joseph Colling, Catherine Colling, John Colling; numerous nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by parents Walter Wuellner & Josephine Mandigo; sisters Delores Thompson & Shirley Fredrickson.

Funeral Service 1 PM Saturday April 17 at KOK FUNERAL HOME, 1201 Portland Ave. St. Paul Park . Interment Fort Snelling . Visitation 4-8 PM Friday and 12-1 PM Saturday at funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
